GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS
At the Legislature, in Congress, at City Halls and County Courthouses throughout Lane County, the HBA has proven, time and again, that a well-organized trade association can have a big impact on government regulation.

The HBALC Government Affairs staff & committee track government agencies and organize plans to combat restrictive and unreasonable ordinances and fees.

Since 1955, the Association has contributed many man-hours and dollars to benefit local charities.
Membership does not cost... It Pays!
WHY MEMBERSHIP IS IMPORTANT!
No other industry is more affected by government regulation than construction. We offer a united approach to address legislative issues that impact all companies engaged in the industry. It is important that everyone involved in the industry work together to secure a healthy future for the housing industry, no one can afford to do it alone.
THREE MEMBERSHIPS IN ONE
Your HBALC membership includes membership in the Oregon Building Industry Association (OBIA) and National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). Three levels of representation from one membership investment.
